The Clinic
We are a Chiropractic Clinic serving the greater Sacramento area.

We treat patients on liens, so there is no up front cost if you were in a car accident. We also have after work hours, so scheduling is never a problem.

We offer treatment plans that include three stages of care, including the corrective stage (pain relief), the healing stage, and the strengthening stage (rehab). You can choose what type of plan you would like, weather you simply want to address your immediate needs, or you want to get out of pain for good.

This office was planned from the beginning to offer the best and latest, so we started from the beginning with electronic medical records. This allows us to quickly collaborate with all of your other health care providers, by sharing typed and easy to read health records immediately. Same day, and sometimes same hour. This is the future of health care, and we're already doing it.

We can access your records with a touch of a button, allowing you to access information at your home or work, and you can even pay your bills online. Do you have a question about what your insurance paid for your treatment? Just give us a call and we'll email you the EOB.

You will have access to the latest equipment, including drop tables, traction tables, physiotherapy units and hydrocollators with steam heat, so if you are in accute pain following an automobile injury, we have you covered. You can click here to see our injury page.

If a patient is interested, we can also discuss disease prevention. If we suspect nutritional deficiencies or risk factors for chronic conditions that may develop later in life, we follow up on it appropriately. We can order the lab work ourselves, or write your referral.
The Chiropractor:
Derek Gibbons is a Sacramento area native, and a graduate of the University of Western States in Portland Oregon. In deciding where to attend Chiropractic College, much research was done, and a number of schools were visited to narrow down the search. The fact is, Dr. Gibbons could have attended any of the Chiropractic Colleges in the country, but decided to move from California to Portland, where he could attend the institution which he felt provided the very best education available.

After graduation, Dr. Gibbons moved back to the Sacramento area, and opened Advanced Chiropractic Center. His vision is to offer treatment designed to get people out of pain for good. We are not just roller tables and hot packs. We can design a custom rehab program to correct faulty movement patterns and increase stability. A strong, flexible, properly functioning body is the best way to prevent re-injury.

When he's not working, Dr. Gibbons enjoys camping, skiing, especially at Heavenly Valley, and catching A's and River Cats games. He is currently a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the California Chiropractic Association, and the Sacramento SPCA.
